KTM 300 EXC 2025-2026 Service Manual: Euro 5+ Fuel-Injected Two-Stroke Hard Enduro Maintenance and Repair Guide

The KTM 300 EXC is the benchmark in hard enduro, and the 2026 model is the only two-stroke in KTM's EXC range with Euro 5+ homologation, which gives it wider registration and road-legal use than its competition-only siblings. Special editions have included the Champion Edition, Six Days and Hardenduro.

The engine is a 293cc single-cylinder two-stroke with a 72mm bore and 72mm stroke. It uses a 39mm Keihin throttle body with Vitesco engine management, a 6-speed gearbox, and a 26:72 primary drive. Power goes through a wet DDS multi-disc clutch with Brembo hydraulics.

The chassis is a central double-cradle 25CrMo4 steel frame with an aluminium-reinforced polyamide subframe, a 48mm WP XACT fork with 300mm of travel, and a WP XPLOR PDS shock with 310mm. A 520 X-Ring chain, 9-litre tank, 963mm seat height and 347mm ground clearance complete the package. The 2026 model gains a standard radiator fan and a revised fork for 2026.

This service manual covers the procedures, torque specs, and diagrams needed to keep a KTM 300 EXC running the way it was built to.
