Power comes from a four-stroke, liquid-cooled V-twin with an overhead-valve configuration, a 76mm x 68mm bore and stroke for 617cc displacement, and a 10.3:1 compression ratio, delivering a claimed 37.4 lb-ft of net torque at 2,500 rpm through a Mikuni BW26-18 carburetor.
