SuperATV's own history of the Mule lineage places the 2510's arrival at a genuine turning point: 1993 introduced the world to the 2510, running "a larger and more powerful liquid-cooled 617cc V-Twin engine and four-wheel drive," alongside heavy-duty carrying capacity and a tilting cargo bed that made it "quickly recognized as top of the line." Kawasaki's own historical materials add the mechanical detail that mattered most to buyers: dual-mode differential, a high-mounted cab-frame air intake, a fan-cooled belt converter, and all-wheel self-adjusting hydraulic brakes — genuinely sophisticated engineering for a farm-and-industrial utility vehicle of its era.
Power comes from a 617cc liquid-cooled V-twin, fed by a Mikuni BV26-18a carburetor and electronic ignition, delivering drive through an integrated transaxle system with a choice of two-wheel or four-wheel drive. Off-Roading Pro's own spec breakdown lists a 1,185-lb curb weight against a genuinely substantial 1,330-lb total load capacity — 803 lbs in the bed alone, plus 1,200 lbs of towing capacity — figures that explain why this machine needed its own trailer to move rather than fitting in a pickup bed.
