Power comes from a 1,352cc liquid-cooled inline-four, DOHC with 16 valves, delivering a claimed 155 hp at 8,800 rpm and roughly 100 lb-ft of torque at 6,200 rpm, run through a 6-speed gearbox with maintenance-free shaft final drive — a genuine advantage over chain-drive rivals for high-mileage touring.
