TE 300 (2024): The All-New TBI Two-Stroke Enduro Flagship, with a Fresh Chassis

Husqvarna’s 2024 TE 300 is the flagship of its two-stroke enduro range and the benchmark for enduro performance. For 2024 the whole range received a new chromium-molybdenum steel frame, built from laser-cut, robot-welded, hydroformed tubes, with a durable hybrid subframe and forged aluminium cylinder head mounts. WP’s closed-cartridge Xact 48mm fork returned, along with a Braktec brake and hydraulic clutch system and Keihin engine management. Testers said it feels more responsive and maneuverable than the previous bike. A TE 300 Pro Series adds Technical Accessories for hard enduro, the same upgrades used by factory rider Billy Bolt, with grey and white graphics.

Power comes from a 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke with a 72mm x 72mm bore and stroke. It has a counterbalance shaft to reduce vibration, a twin-valve controlled power valve and 39mm throttle body injection, so rideability is excellent. The TE 150, TE 250 and TE 300 are all oil-injected, so there’s no premixing. It has electric start and a 6-speed gearbox.

Suspension is a WP Xact 48mm closed-cartridge coil-spring fork with 300mm of travel and a WP monoshock, also with 300mm of travel. Brakes are Braktec units with a 260mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc. Tires are a 90/90-21 front and a 140/80-18 rear.

Confirmed figures list a 1,489mm (58.6-inch) wheelbase, 354mm (13.9 inches) of ground clearance, a seat height of about 950mm, an 8.5-litre tank and a dry weight of about 106-107 kg (236 lbs). The US MSRP was $11,549.
