The X-ADV's signature trait throughout this generation was its identity crisis by design: 16-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels (larger than a typical scooter, smaller than a true adventure bike) paired with genuine off-road capability that surprised riders expecting a glorified commuter. A generous 21.3-litre under-seat storage compartment, standard smart-key functionality, and a step-through frame layout kept the practical, easy-access appeal that scooter riders expect, while the upright riding position, long-travel suspension, and DCT's Gravel-adjacent tuning gave it genuine light off-road manners few scooters could match. Multiple riding modes and Honda Selectable Torque Control were available depending on model year and market, with the platform building a reputation as a genuinely capable, comfortable all-rounder for mixed commuting and weekend adventure riding.
