The chassis uses a double-cradle steel frame with a 41mm air-assisted, three-way adjustable telescopic fork offering 145mm of travel up front, paired with a three-way adjustable Pro-Link rear shock. Braking uses dual 274mm front discs with dual-piston calipers and a 279mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper, on six-spoke aluminum wheels. Standard equipment included a center stand, a four-into-two exhaust with a muffler on each side, a one-piece two-up seat with passenger grab handle, and a rectangular headlight mounted on the fork.

A genuinely well-documented weak point across this engine family is premature camshaft wear on some early examples, worth checking on any surviving unit before assuming the top end is in good health.
