Honda CRF250RWE 2025-2026 Service Manual

Honda brought its Works Edition treatment to the quarter-litre class in 2025, building on the CRF250R’s full redesign. It’s inspired by the factory Honda HRC bikes of Jo Shimoda and Chance Hymas, and Honda calls it the most advanced 250cc dirt bike it has made. Compared with the standard CRF250R, it gets a Yoshimura exhaust (an RS-12 with a stainless-steel header pipe and titanium muffler), Kashima-coated outer fork tubes, titanium-oxide-coated lower fork legs and a titanium-oxide-coated 18mm shock shaft. It’s also the first Honda 250 with a hydraulic clutch as standard. The engine has hand-polished cylinder ports and a red metallic cylinder head cover, and the bike carries Throttle Jockey Team Honda HRC graphics, a blue anodised fork cap and a high-flow air filter. It cost $10,599 in the US for 2025, a $2,300 premium over the standard bike.

Power comes from the same 249cc liquid-cooled DOHC single as the CRF250R, with a 79mm bore and a 50.9mm stroke, which allows large titanium valves. The cylinder head has straighter intake and exhaust tracts, and the Works Edition adds special ECU settings. The gearbox is a 5-speed with revised ratios, and HRC Launch Control has three levels. The 2025 engine also has greater crank rigidity and an optimized intake and exhaust design.

Suspension is the 49mm leading-axle inverted Showa coil-spring fork, with 12.2 inches of travel and a hand-operated compression adjuster, and a Pro-Link Showa shock that has new valving and a 2mm larger shock shaft (18mm against 16mm). Both are fully adjustable, with 13-position rebound and 15-position compression damping on the fork. The shock gives about 12.1 inches of travel, with an anodised adjuster cap and an ultra-light steel spring.

Confirmed figures list a claimed weight of about 236 lbs, about 2 lbs more than the standard bike.
