BF115A/BF130A: Honda's Genuine "World's First" — The Largest Four-Stroke Outboard Class of Its Era

The BF115 and BF130 incorporate very economical, durable 4-stroke engines rated at 115PS and 130PS respectively." Power comes from a 2,254cc four-stroke inline-four, SOHC with 16 valves, a centrally located ignition plug, and a long-port inlet manifold specifically engineered for improved combustion efficiency — Honda's own release confirms genuine engineering-first status: "adoption of electronic Programmed Fuel Injection for the first time in large displacement" outboards from Honda.
