The Milwaukee-Eight 117 High Output delivers a claimed 112-114 hp (sources vary slightly by market) and roughly 127.5-128 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm, a genuine step up from the previous year's 103 hp and 125 lb-ft. Dealer specs note the redline was pushed from 5,600 to 5,900 rpm, letting riders stay on the gas longer during hard acceleration — Visordown's UK road test found the result genuinely intense, describing hard throttle as being "shot out of a cannon" with a roaring, layered soundtrack of intake whine, piston clack, and exhaust roar.
