Breakout 107 (2019): "Long, Lean Muscle Taken to the Modern Edge"
Harley's own copy doesn't hold back on the Breakout's intent: "be seen, be respected, and when the light turns green, be gone." A muscular modern chopper with genuine "stop you in your tracks" attitude, the 2019 model offered buyers a choice between this standard 107 and a step-up 114 variant, both riding on the reinvented Softail platform introduced the year before.
The Milwaukee-Eight 107 delivers a 3.937 in. bore and 4.374 in. stroke for 107 cu in (1,746cc) displacement, with a 10.0:1 compression ratio running through electronic sequential port fuel injection and a 2-into-2 staggered exhaust. Harley's marketing invites riders to "reach for the drag bars and unleash it on the street" — a genuine invitation given the bike's raked-out, drag-inspired geometry: a 34-degree rake, 66.7 in. wheelbase, and 5.7 in. of trail.
The long, low stance runs a skinny 130/60B21 front tire against a massive 240/40R18 rear, with the reinvented Softail frame's lightweight, stiff construction delivering a genuinely more responsive ride than earlier Breakout generations. A racing-style cartridge fork brings sophisticated suspension technology to the front end, reducing weight while delivering linear damping, and an easily adjustable mono-shock rear allows for dynamic cornering while preserving the hardtail look. Dimensions run 93.3 in. long with a 25.6 in. laden seat height. 2019 pricing started at $19,049.
