This was a complete overhaul, not a refresh — the 2018 model year folded the Dyna lineup entirely into a unified Softail platform, and Ultimate Motorcycling's buyer's guide called the result unambiguous: "in every single way, the 2018 Street Bob is a superior motorcycle to the Dyna editions" it replaced.

The Milwaukee-Eight 107 became the most powerful engine in Street Bob history at launch, delivering a claimed 86 hp at 5,020 rpm and 110 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm. A new stiffer chassis relocated the single-shock rear suspension to an under-seat position, while non-adjustable but genuinely excellent Showa Dual Bending Valve forks made this, according to reviewers at the time, the best-handling Street Bob the model had ever seen — aggressive canyon riding rewarded with an exhilarating ride rather than a harsh one.

Styling stays true to the stripped-down Street Bob formula: minimal bodywork, spoked wheels, and a genuinely raw riding position. Front and rear tires run 100/90HB-19 and 150/80H-16.
