Harley Davidson FLTRU Road Glide Ultra 2019 Service Manual

Harley calls the 2019 Road Glide Ultra the ultimate mile eater. The distinctive frame-mounted shark-nose fairing cuts through the wind, the Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114 provides the power, and a Premium Tour-Pak luggage carrier offers ample storage. The Ultra is the fully equipped Road Glide, with the new Boom! Box GTS infotainment system as standard (a 6.5-inch edge-to-edge glass touchscreen with a faster processor and more memory than the 6.5GT it replaced), Reflex linked Brembo brakes, a responsive frame and suspension, and one-touch saddlebags with a Tour-Pak. The 2019 US price was $27,689 plus $435 destination.

The engine is the Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114, a 1,868cc V-twin with liquid-cooled cylinder heads, a 102.1mm bore, a 114.3mm stroke and a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection feeds it. Torque is 122 lb-ft (165 Nm) at 3,000 rpm, and power is about 90 hp at 5,450 rpm. Harley lists fuel economy of about 43 mpg, and the exhaust is a chrome dual system with 4-inch touring mufflers and touring muffler shields. The gearbox is a 6-speed with a multi-plate wet clutch, a 34/46 chain primary drive and belt final drive.

The chassis has a 26-degree rake with 6.7 inches of trail on a 64-inch (1,625mm) wheelbase. Brakes are dual front discs and a single rear disc, and tires are a Dunlop Multi-Tread 130/80R17 65H at the front and a 180/65B16 81H at the rear. The Ultra is 102.2 inches (2,595mm) long, with 5.1 inches (130mm) of ground clearance. Seat height is 27.2 inches laden and 28.9 inches (735mm) unladen.

The tank holds 6 gallons (22.7 litres), engine oil capacity is 5 quarts (4.9 litres) with the filter, and the Tour-Pak and saddlebags hold about 4.7 cubic feet. The Ultra weighs about 899 lbs (408 kg) as shipped and about 937 lbs (425 kg) in running order.
