Road Glide Limited (2024): The Last of the Old Guard Before Discontinuation

2024 turned out to be the final model year for the Road Glide Limited — Harley discontinued it for 2025 alongside the Ultra Limited, folding their full-dress touring role into the new Street Glide Ultra instead. It's a fitting send-off in one sense: while the all-new FLTRX Road Glide launched a completely redesigned platform that same year, the Limited carried on with the previous-generation Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114 architecture, giving 2024 buyers a genuine choice between old and new philosophies side by side.

The Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114 delivers strong low-end torque through a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission and belt final drive, with liquid-cooled cylinder heads managing heat during extended highway running or stop-and-go traffic. The signature frame-mounted Sharknose fairing carries over from the prior generation, still delivering the aerodynamic efficiency and reduced buffeting that made the Road Glide name a touring staple, paired with the Limited trim's full complement of hard luggage and passenger amenities aimed at genuine cross-country, two-up travel.

Front and rear tires run 130/70B18 and 180/55B18, with a 6-speed belt-drive powertrain and the deep, comfort-oriented ergonomics the Limited trim has always been known for. 2024 pricing started at $32,499. With the redesigned FLTRX now sharing showroom space, the Limited represents the final chapter of the Road Glide's previous-generation touring formula.
