Harley Davidson FLSTSE CVO 110 Softail Convertible 2010 Service Manual

Harley built the CVO Softail Convertible as a bike that changes from tourer to custom cruiser. For 2010 it received a new detachable compact fairing with a smoked windshield and new detachable leather-covered saddlebags with genuine buffalo-hide inserts. It also got a new custom-leather two-up seat with buffalo-hide inserts, a detachable upright and backrest pad, 18-inch chrome aluminum Stinger wheels with matching Stinger floating brake rotors, a new instrument panel with a digital speedometer and analog tachometer, and a full-coverage wide rear fender with a trimmed front fender.

Power comes from the rigid-mounted, counter-balanced Twin Cam 110B, an air-cooled 1,802cc V-twin with pushrod-operated overhead valves and hydraulic self-adjusting lifters. It has a 101.6 x 111.25mm bore and stroke and a 9.15-9.6:1 compression ratio (sources differ), fed by Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection with single-fire, map-controlled ignition. Claimed torque is about 146 Nm (107.7 lb-ft) at 3,000 rpm. The gearbox is a 6-speed Cruise Drive with a hydraulically actuated 9-plate wet clutch and belt final drive. The starter is a 1.4 kW unit, and the exhaust is a chrome straight over/under shotgun with slash-cut dual mufflers.

The chassis is a mild-steel tubular frame with a 41.3mm telescopic fork with chrome "beer can" covers and a hidden horizontal coil-over rear shock, with colour-matched swingarm and frame. Brakes are a single 292mm disc at each wheel, with a four-piston front caliper and a two-piston rear. Tires are a 130/70R18 front and a 200/50R18 rear radial. The high-flow Ventilator air intake has an engine-turned insert and rain sock.

Confirmed figures list a 95.1-inch length, a 64.2-inch wheelbase, a 32-degree rake with 5.8 inches of trail and 3.7 inches of ground clearance. Seat height is 24.4 inches laden and 25.6 inches unladen. The tank holds 5 gallons. Dry weight is 724 lbs (756 lbs wet). The US price was $27,999.
