Harley’s own pitch for the 2025 Tri Glide Ultra is a powerful, modern stance, with black finishes on the wheels and powertrain adding an aggressive edge. The cast wheels, the powertrain and the Scorched Chrome tank badge are black. The 19-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear lift the stance without raising the seat height. Up to six colours were offered, including the Factory Custom Paint option Mystic Shift, which changes from dark gunmetal to purple, blue and then an orange hue in full sun. The Tri Glide has been a special machine in Harley’s history, and the Milwaukee-Eight engine has powered it since 2017.

Power comes from the Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114, a 1,868cc V-twin, with liquid-cooled cylinder heads, a 102mm bore, a 114.3mm stroke and a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Torque is about 120 lb-ft (163 Nm), and Harley says it lets you load up the trike with luggage and a passenger with confidence. Drive runs through a 6-speed transmission with a multiplate oil-bath clutch and belt final drive, and the throttle is fly-by-wire.

The trike carries a 49mm telescopic fork with 117mm of travel. Parts data lists an MT90HB-16 front tire, a 139-tooth, 1 1/8-inch drive belt on 30/70 pulleys, an 86-link 428 chain primary, a CR9EIX spark plug, an H30292 oil filter and a YIX30L battery. Combined luggage capacity is 6.8 cubic feet, and the fairing has lowers.

Because the Tri Glide is a three-wheeler with its own rear axle, differential and trike chassis, its procedures differ from the two-wheeled Touring models that share the engine, so check the VIN before working from another manual.
