Harley Davidson FLHTCUTG 115th Anniversary Tri Glide Ultra Trike 2018 Service Manual

For 2018 Harley marked its 115th anniversary with a limited-production edition of the Tri Glide Ultra, which Harley calls the ultimate three-wheeled touring machine. It has all the features of the base model plus exclusive anniversary details: a two-tone Legend Blue and Vivid Black paint scheme with a triple pinstripe and painted gloss inner fairing, a 115th Anniversary multi-metal tank cloisonné showing an eagle holding the Bar and Shield, and 115th Anniversary script on the console, timer cover and air cleaner. The perforated seat has colour-matched blue stitching with an embossed “HDMC,” “115” is emblazoned in Legend Blue script on the gloss black timer cover, and each trike has a serialized fuel door medallion. The 2018 US price was $36,249 in the Anniversary color, against $34,499 for the standard Vivid Black bike.

Touring equipment matches the standard Tri Glide Ultra: the Batwing fairing with a one-touch splitstream air vent, a Daymaker LED headlamp and LED fog lamps, and the Boom! Box 6.5GT touchscreen infotainment system with GPS. Electronic cruise control, the security system and electric reverse are standard, and storage is about 6.8 cubic feet in all, with a 4.4 cubic foot integrated trunk (50 lb capacity) and a waterproof King Tour-Pak with a nylon liner and storage pockets. Wheels are black 7-spoke cast aluminum, a 16-inch front and 15-inch rears.

The engine is the Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 107, a 1,746cc V-twin with liquid-cooled cylinder heads, four valves per cylinder, a 100mm bore, a 111.1mm stroke and a 10:1 compression ratio, fed by Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. Torque is about 113-114 lb-ft (about 154 Nm) at 3,250-3,500 rpm, power is about 87 hp at 5,450 rpm, and the exhaust is a chrome 2-1-2 dual system with tapered mufflers. The gearbox is a 6-speed Cruise Drive with reverse, a 34/46 chain primary drive and belt final drive.

The brakes are a six-piston fixed front caliper with four 31.75mm pistons, and linked rear brakes with two 25.4mm pistons plus a 31.75mm floating caliper. Tires are an MT90B16 72H at the front and P205/65R15 92T at the rear. The chassis has a 26-degree rake with 3.94 inches of trail on a 65.7-inch (1,670mm) wheelbase. The trike is 105.1 inches (2,670mm) long, with 4.9 inches of ground clearance, and seat height is 27.1 inches laden and 28.9 inches (735mm) unladen.

The tank holds 6 gallons (22.7 litres), and engine oil capacity is 5 quarts (4.7 litres) with the filter. Weight is about 1,204 lbs (546 kg) as shipped and 1,243 lbs (564 kg) in running order.
