Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCUI (2003): "There's Never Been a Way to Pack More Motorcycle Between Two Wheels"

Harley's own line on the Ultra Classic is that from front fender to rear luggage, there's never been a way to pack more motorcycle between two wheels. Standard equipment covers just about everything: hard luggage, a big seat, roomy boards, cruise control, a fairing with lowers, and a fuel-injected Twin Cam 88 engine. New for 2003 was a CD player, part of a 40-watt-per-channel AM/FM/weatherband sound system with four low-distortion speakers, electronic passenger controls, and a built-in CB/voice-activated intercom. Buyers could also order full Anniversary dress: two-tone paint, gold cast wheels, engine covers and a seat emblem, to mark the company's 100th year.

Power comes from the air-cooled Twin Cam 88, a 1,449cc V-twin with a 95.3 x 101.6mm bore and stroke and an 8.9:1 compression ratio, making a claimed 67 hp at 5,200 rpm and 110 Nm (81.1 lb-ft) of torque at 3,100 rpm through a 5-speed transmission with belt final drive. Autoevolution's spec sheet for this generation lists a bat-wing fairing with windscreen, a sculpted dual seat with lumbar support, cast-aluminium wheels and full fenders.

Confirmed figures list a 98.3-inch overall length, a 27.2-inch seat height, a 63.5-inch wheelbase, 130/90-16 tires at both ends, dual 292mm front discs with four-piston calipers and a single 292mm rear disc, an 18.9-litre fuel tank with a 1.9-litre reserve, and a dry weight of about 789 lbs.
