Electra Glide Classic FLHTC/FLHTCI (2003): "Keeps Riders Dreaming of Endless Highways"

Harley's own copy for the Classic says it "keeps riders dreaming of endless highways": a wind-splitting fork-mounted fairing, a plush passenger pillion and backrest, a 40-watt per channel sound system with AM/FM/WB and CD, spacious King Tour-Pak luggage, and hard saddlebags. It sits between the base Electra Glide Standard and the fully loaded Ultra Classic in Harley's 2003 touring range.

Power comes from the vibration-isolated, black-and-chrome Twin Cam 88, a 1,449cc air-cooled V-twin with a 95.3 x 101.6mm bore and stroke, offered with a carburetor as the FLHTC or Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection as the FLHTCI, feeding a 5-speed transmission with belt final drive.

Standard equipment includes the bat-wing, fork-mounted fairing, fiberglass saddlebags and King Tour-Pak, a plush seat and passenger backrest, full instrumentation, the 40-watt stereo, triple-disc brakes and air-adjustable rear touring suspension. Confirmed factory dimensions list a 97.5-inch overall length, a 27.3-inch laden seat height (30.7 inches unladen), and 5.1 inches of ground clearance.

2003 was Harley's 100th anniversary, and the Electra Glide Classic was one of the models offered in anniversary dress, with two-tone paint and gold badging available alongside the standard colors.
