Road King Special FLHRXS (2020): Blacked-Out Milwaukee-Eight 114, Vicious Slicer II Wheels, and a Glossy Black Nacelle

Harley's own dealer copy calls this the ultimate tourer to rule the road: a blacked-out Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine and vicious Slicer II wheels cutting through the noise with a roar of their own. A glossy black headlight nacelle and forks add to the dark side theme, while optional Reflex Defensive Rider Systems help with cornering and stopping in bad weather.

Power comes from the Milwaukee-Eight 114, a V-twin displacing 1,868-1,870cc, delivering a claimed 120 lb-ft (16.6 mkg) of torque at 3,000 rpm through a 6-speed transmission with belt final drive. Motoplanete's own review confirms the genuine engineering behind this Special trim: Harley used much the same recipe as it did for the earlier Fat Boy Special, adding emulsion shocks and a double-valve fork to both the standard Road King and Touring chassis.

Confirmed running gear lists a 49mm fork, 130/60B-19 front and 180/55B-18 rear tires, a 428-size, 86-link chain primary, and a 140-tooth, 24mm drive belt, with a YIX30L battery. Confirmed dimensions list a 695mm (27.36-inch) minimum seat height and 6.10L/100km (roughly 39 mpg) fuel consumption on the WMTC cycle.

Standard equipment includes stretched saddlebags, mini-ape hangers, a comprehensive warning-light array covering high beam, running lights, directional light bar, neutral, low oil pressure, engine diagnostics, turn signals, battery, security system, low fuel warning, cruise control, and ABS, plus gear/RPM and miles-to-empty displays. 2020 pricing in France was €26,590, with the bike offered in black, grey, brown, red, and blue.
