CVO Screamin' Eagle Road King FLHRSE4 (2008): "The Largest-Displacement Harley-Davidson Production Engine" — With a Commemorative CVO Key in a Presentation Box

Harley's own factory copy for this exact bike doesn't undersell the engine bragging rights: "the Screamin' Eagle Road King has the largest-displacement Harley-Davidson production engine, the 110-cubic inch (1800cc) Twin Cam 110, a high-performance V-Twin engine delivering 115 ft. lbs. of torque at 3000 rpm." That same copy confirms the genuine ownership extras bundled with every CVO: "the Harley-Davidson Smart Security System with Smart Siren, an indoor storage cover with CVO logo, and a commemorative CVO key in a presentation box."

Power comes from the Twin Cam 110, an air-cooled V-twin displacing 1,802cc, pushrod-operated overhead valves with hydraulic self-adjusting lifters, a 101.6mm x 111.1mm bore and stroke, and a 9.2-9.7:1 compression ratio (sources vary slightly), fed by standard Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), delivering a claimed 108.4-115 lb-ft (147-156 Nm) of torque at 3,000-3,700 rpm through a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission with belt final drive — genuinely tuned for lower cruising rpm in top gear. A custom oil cooler with a chrome cover and chrome cross-over dual exhaust with four-inch touring mufflers and chrome billet end caps rounded out the powertrain presentation.

Standard equipment included Brembo front and rear calipers with ABS as genuine standard fitment, 18-inch x 3.5-inch chrome Road Winder forged aluminum front wheels and 17-inch x 4.5-inch rears, a wide rear fender, an exclusive Tombstone tail light assembly with a matching chrome hoop, and color-matched frames. Confirmed colorways spanned Twilight Blue/Candy Cobalt with Ghost Flame graphics, Black Diamond/Silver Dust with Ghost Flame graphics, and a genuine 105th Anniversary Crystal Copper/Black Diamond finish commanding a modest premium.

Confirmed factory dimensions list a 93.5-94.1-inch length, 4.7-5.1 inches of ground clearance (a real half-inch more than the standard Road King despite being an inch shorter overall), a 26-degree rake, and a 63-63.4-inch wheelbase, riding on a 130/70-18 front and 170/60-17 rear tire. Dry weight sits at 754 lbs. 2008 US pricing was $29,290, rising to $29,785 for the 105th Anniversary Edition.

This factory service manual covers the procedures, torque specs, and diagrams needed to keep a 2008 CVO Screamin' Eagle Road King FLHRSE4 running the way it was built to.
