Heritage Classic 114 (2024): Carryover Year, Trimmed-Down Color Palette

Cycle World notes the Heritage moniker itself dates back to the mid-'80s, when Harley first applied it to the Softail line to revive 1950s Hydra-Glide styling — years before motorcycling's broader retro craze caught up. By 2024, the formula has matured into something that reads less as deliberate retro and more as simply "classic Harley," a distinction the same review draws against the more overtly vintage-styled Hydra-Glide Revival in that year's Icons Collection.

2024 is a genuine carryover year mechanically — no changes to the Milwaukee-Eight 114 or chassis — with the main differences being a trimmed color lineup. Alpine Green joins as a new option, but several of the eye-catching dual-tone finishes from 2023 are gone, leaving Red Rock/Vivid Black as the sole two-tone holdout. Buyers still choose between chrome and blacked-out finishes, and reviewers note how dramatically the blacked-out treatment alone modernizes the bike's overall look despite an otherwise unchanged silhouette.

The touring-ready spec sheet remains genuinely comprehensive for a cruiser: lockable, hard-formed leather saddlebags that hold their shape unloaded and stay weather-sealed, a detachable windscreen, standard cruise control, and ABS. The Milwaukee-Eight 114 delivers strong low-end torque through a 6-speed gearbox and belt final drive, running through electronic sequential port fuel injection. Front and rear tires run 130/90B16 and 150/80B16. 2024 pricing started at $22,499 for chrome finish in Billiard Gray, with additional colors adding $350-$850 and blacked-out finishes adding a further $1,000.
