The Milwaukee-Eight 114 delivers a claimed 94 hp at 5,020 rpm and 114.3 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm, with a 4.016 in. bore and 4.5 in. stroke on a 10.5:1 compression ratio, run through a 6-speed gearbox and 2-into-2 shorty dual exhaust with catalyst in the muffler. Harley's own copy called this new Heritage Classic anything but a "homage to '50s chrome nostalgia" — a genuinely more aggressive, dark-styled machine than its chromed predecessors, powered by an engine offering both 107 and 114 displacement options that year.

Anniversary-specific detailing sets this edition apart: two-tone Legend Blue and Vivid Black paint with a divergent triple pinstripe that follows the contours of the bike's design, a bold tank medallion featuring the Eagle holding the Bar & Shield in cloisonné glass and multi-metal composite, color-matched blue stitching, and a special "HDMC" graphic with "115" embroidery on the perforated seat.
