Heritage Classic 107 (2019): "From the Shady Side of the Family Tree"

Harley's own headline for the 2019 Heritage Classic doesn't leave much room for interpretation: "from the shady side of the family tree." It's a deliberate contrast with the more overtly nostalgic Heritage Softail Classic of decades past — same touring-cruiser DNA, but reworked with gloss-black finishes and a genuinely modern edge, marketed with the tagline "if Bonnie and Clyde rode a Harley motorcycle, this would be the one." 2019 offered buyers a choice between the standard 107 covered here and a step-up 114 variant.

The Milwaukee-Eight 107 delivers a claimed 3.937 in. bore and 4.374 in. stroke for 107 cu in (1,746cc) displacement, with a 10.0:1 compression ratio running through electronic sequential port fuel injection and a 2-into-2 shorty dual exhaust with catalyst in the muffler. The reinvented Softail frame keeps classic Heritage lines intact while delivering a genuinely more responsive ride than earlier generations, according to Harley's own engineering claims.

Styling stays true to the touring-hybrid formula: a detachable windscreen that comes off in seconds for a completely different look and ride, along with darkness-defying lighting for improved night visibility. Dimensions run 95.1 in. long with a 30-degree rake, 64.2 in. wheelbase, and 26.3 in. laden seat height, riding on a 130/90B16 front and 150/80HB16 rear tire. Dry weight comes in at 697 lbs, with a 5-gallon tank rated for a claimed 47 mpg combined. 2019 pricing started at $19,049.
