That same review found the ride genuinely stable at speed: "the Fat Boy is rock solid out on the open road, and the front and rear suspension supportive enough to cope with the weight, while still giving some level of comfort."

Power comes from the Milwaukee-Eight 114, a 1,868cc air-cooled V-twin, delivering a claimed 119 lb-ft of torque, run through a 6-speed transmission with belt final drive.
