Dirt Wheels Magazine's own hands-on testing of this platform draws a direct comparison worth knowing: "like the rest of the machine, CFMoto's powerplant is eerily similar to what we see from Can-Am. For power, the UForce uses an eight-valve, liquid-cooled, four-stroke V-twin." That same review highlights the genuine value built into the standard spec: "what you get when you buy the UForce is a long list of standard features that you typically don't get from other manufacturers. Two side mirrors and a horn are standard on this machine. This model also comes with a 3,500-pound winch pre-installed with both wired and wireless remotes."

Power comes from a 963cc liquid-cooled V-twin, SOHC with 8 valves, delivering a claimed 79 hp (58.9 kW) at 7,000 rpm and roughly 60 lb-ft (81.3 Nm) of torque at 6,200-6,500 rpm, fed by Bosch electronic fuel injection, run through a CVT transmission with Hi/Low range and reverse, feeding a shaft-driven front and chain-driven engine-to-transmission layout.

Dirt Wheels' own real-world testing flags a genuine, honest caveat worth knowing: "in low range, power is abundant; however, the throttle is a little touchy. We had to raise the preload from stock to bring ground-clearance numbers up to the 11 inches listed in the spec chart" — real, practical feedback on suspension setup rather than just a spec-sheet summary. That same review estimates roughly 10 inches of wheel travel on each corner, despite CFMoto not officially listing that figure.

Confirmed dimensions list a 9.75-foot length, 63.5-inch width, 80.7-inch wheelbase, 26.9-foot turning radius, 11.4 inches of ground clearance, a 1,520-lb dry weight, a 2,000-lb towing capacity, and a 10.5-gallon fuel tank, riding on 27x9-14 front and 27x11-14 rear aluminum wheels. Cargo bed capacity is rated at 1,000 lbs. US pricing started at $13,499 in 2019, dropping to $11,999 by 2020 before rising to $12,399 by 2022.
