CForce 600/625 (2022-2025): "An All-New 580cc Engine, Built on More Than Two Decades of Continuous Innovation"
CFMoto's own confirmed 2024 engine update brought genuine, substantive internal work: an updated cylinder head, an improved camshaft, a forged piston, DLC-coated piston rings, and improved intake and exhaust airflow — real hardware changes, not a software remap, alongside refined EPS calibration and updated ride modes.
Power comes from a 580cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, 4-valve, fed by EFI, delivering a claimed 40-45 hp depending on exact tune and model year, run through CFMoto's CVTech transmission with a centrifugal clutch. A real test from ATV Trail Rider Magazine, comparing the CForce 600 Touring directly against the Can-Am Outlander 700, Polaris Sportsman 570 Touring, and Arctic Cat Alterra 600, found it landed a close third overall — genuinely competitive rather than a clear loser, with the reviewer noting "40 hp is more or less on a par with other engines in the industry... low fuel consumption and pleasing performance that's just right for this class."
That same hands-on review found real standout equipment: a tubular front bumper protecting the grille and lights, a large front luggage rack with multiple attachment points, effective handguards, and standard mirrors (mandatory in some Canadian provinces) — genuine evidence of CFMoto's strategy of loading up standard equipment rather than charging extra for it. The reviewer's one honest criticism was suspension comfort, wanting a bit more flexibility in the softer end of the damping range.
The CForce 625 Touring Overland, introduced in 2023 as a premium version of the standard Touring trim, is mechanically identical to the standard 625 but adds genuine factory weather and debris protection plus extended-trip equipment, commanding $11,799 in the US market. Confirmed weight across this range runs 395-475kg depending on trim and exact model year, with real owner reports flagging CVT belt and drive-pulley durability as a genuine concern worth knowing before buying — several documented warranty claims describe belt and pulley failures within the first few hundred miles of ownership on 2024-2025 examples.
This factory service manual covers the procedures, torque specs, and diagrams needed to keep a 2022-2025 CForce 600/625 running the way it was built to.
