CForce 800 XC (2021-2023): A Real Power Bump Baked Into the 2023 Model Year, Not Just a Trim Refresh
CFMoto's own confirmed spec sheets reveal a genuine mid-cycle output increase across this exact range worth knowing before assuming identical performance between model years: the 2021 and 2022 configurations deliver peak power at 6,700-7,000 rpm, while the 2023 model shifts peak output to 7,250 rpm with torque peaking at 6,250 rpm — real recalibration rather than a simple carryover, with 2023's own confirmed product copy listing a claimed 62 hp at 7,250 rpm and 53 lb-ft of torque at 6,250 rpm.
Power comes from an 800cc liquid-cooled V-twin, SOHC with 8 valves, delivering that claimed 62 hp through an optimized CVTECH dry clutch system and a selectable 4x2/4x4 driveline with standard differential lock and shaft final drive. Fuel delivery genuinely changed suppliers partway through this range too — the 2021-2022 models ran Bosch EFI with a Bosch throttle body, while the 2023 configuration switched to Delphi electronic fuel injection, a real component-level change worth knowing when sourcing fuel-system parts for a specific model year.
Standard equipment includes an intelligent speed-sensitive EPS system that automatically adjusts steering assist based on vehicle speed — light and effortless at low speed for tight maneuvering, firmer and more stable at higher speeds for confident trail riding — plus durable plastic fender flares, an advanced trailing-arm rear suspension design, standard front and rear racks, and a two-piece seat accommodating both rider and passenger.
Confirmed dimensions list a 90.5-inch length, 48-inch width, 56.7-inch height, a 58-inch wheelbase, 11 inches of ground clearance, a 7.3-gallon fuel tank, and a 36.6-inch seat height, riding on 26x9 R14 front and 26x11 R14 rear tires. Dry weight genuinely increased across this span too — from 970 lbs in 2021-2022 up to 1,058 lbs by 2023. US pricing climbed from $8,599 in 2021 to $9,199 by 2023.
This factory service manual covers the procedures, torque specs, and diagrams needed to keep a 2021-2023 CForce 800 XC running the way it was built to.
