CForce 400/500 (2024-2025): The Entry-Level Pair With "The Lowest Vibration in Class Across the Entire Torque Range"
CFMoto's own 2025 product copy makes a genuinely specific engineering claim worth knowing: the CForce 400 has the lowest vibration in class across the entire torque range, measured at the handlebar grip, seat, and footrests — a real comfort benefit for anyone running the machine through long workdays. That same copy confirms genuine cooling improvements carried into this exact generation: a revised radiator design keeps leg-area temperatures 25% lower than previous models during sustained low-rpm use.
Power on the CForce 400 comes from a 400cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, SOHC with 4 valves, a 91mm x 61.5mm bore and stroke, and a 10.3:1 compression ratio, fed by Bosch EFI, delivering a claimed 30 hp at 7,200 rpm and 22-24 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. The CForce 500 shares this same fundamental SOHC single-cylinder architecture at a slightly larger 495-500cc displacement, both running through CFMoto's CVTech automatic transmission with P/R/N/H/L settings and a selectable 2WD/4WD driveline with standard differential lock.
Standard equipment across both displacements includes a 3.5-inch LCD digital gauge with an all-new user interface, double A-arm independent suspension front and rear with spring-preload-adjustable, oil-damped shocks, hydraulic disc brakes with parking function, and 12-inch steel wheels. A genuinely redesigned fuel tank for this generation is narrower to free up leg space for the rider while standing or seated, and still delivers a real 4.5-gallon capacity.
Confirmed dimensions list an 80-inch length, 44-inch width, 45-inch height, 50-inch wheelbase, 9.8 inches of ground clearance, a 20-inch seat height, and a 730-732 lb curb weight. 2024-2025 US pricing for the CForce 400 was confirmed at $5,399.
This factory service manual covers the procedures, torque specs, and diagrams needed to keep a 2024-2025 CForce 400/500 running the way it was built to.
