CFMOTO 450CL-C 2025-2026 Service Manual

The 450CL-C arrived as a direct rival to the Kawasaki Eliminator and Honda Rebel 500, priced at $5,799 for 2026, $1,000 under the Rebel. The 2026 update brought a thicker, wider seat for long-ride comfort and some detail changes, while the core mechanical package is unchanged. Styling is cruiser, with organic shapes, 16-inch wheels, a low seat, upright bars and “relaxed geometry”. Colours were Teal Green and Nebula Black in the US, with Nebula White in Australia, and it has a two-year US warranty.

Power comes from a counterbalanced 449cc liquid-cooled DOHC parallel-twin, a short-stroke design with a 72mm x 55.2mm bore and stroke, a 11.5:1 compression ratio and a 270-degree crank. It makes a claimed 40 hp (30 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 30-31 lb-ft (about 42 Nm) of torque at 6,250 rpm, fed by Bosch fuel injection. The gearbox is a 6-speed with a wet multi-plate slipper clutch, and final drive is by a Gates belt, which keeps the vibes mellow and maintenance light.

The chassis uses a 37mm inverted fork (150mm of travel) and a monoshock (130mm of travel), both non-adjustable. Brakes are a 320mm single front disc with a J.Juan four-piston radial caliper and a 220mm rear disc, with ABS and traction control standard. Tires are CST units, a 130/90-16 front and a 150/80-16 rear. Bluetooth connects to the CFMoto RideSync app.

Confirmed figures list a 705mm seat height, a 1,485mm wheelbase, 160mm of ground clearance, a 12-litre tank and a curb weight of 181 kg (399 lbs). Dimensions are 2,205 x 805 x 1,110mm.
