Power comes from a 292.4cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine, delivering a claimed 27.8-29.2 hp (figures vary slightly by model year) at 8,750 rpm and roughly 18.4-18.7 lb-ft of torque at 7,250 rpm.
