Heritage Classic 107: Chrome Style, Softail Comfort, Old-School Nostalgia
Where the "S" version of the Heritage Classic leans blacked-out and aggressive with the 114, the standard FLHC keeps things chrome and traditional, running the Milwaukee-Eight 107. It's the same touring-cruiser hybrid formula — detachable windscreen, locking vinyl-covered saddlebags, full fenders — dressed in polished chrome steel laced wheels, front hub covers, and a chrome-finished engine rather than the dark treatment its bigger sibling wears.
The Milwaukee-Eight 107 puts out a claimed 147.8 Nm (109 lb-ft) of torque at 3,000 rpm, with a 3.94 in. bore and 4.37 in. stroke on a 10.0:1 compression ratio, running through electronic sequential port fuel injection. Like the rest of the Softail range, the frame was reworked in 2018 to hide the rear shock and keep the hardtail silhouette while actually running modern, adjustable suspension underneath.
Dimensions run 95.1 in. long with a 64.2 in. wheelbase and 26.8 in. unladen seat height. It rolls on a 130/90B16 front and 150/80B16 rear tire, carries a 5-gallon tank, and ships at 697 lbs — 728 lbs ready to ride. Standard equipment includes ABS, cruise control, and a security system, with 2021 pricing starting at $18,999.
Whether it's chrome-and-leather nostalgia parked in the garage or a Heritage Classic 107 doing real miles, this factory manual has the torque specs, wiring diagrams, and procedures to keep it running right.
